Snowdonia is a mountain bike Mecca! The world-famous Marin trail is a short ride from our Llanrwst base, Penmachno is 10 minutes’ drive and the Coed Y Brenin trails are half an hour away. Less time travelling, more time riding!
Fancy a little riding “off-piste”? Our guides know all the best natural mountain routes too!
The Marin Trail is a quality mountain bike trail. Long but steady climbs, big descents and, tasty single track will make this a truly memorable ride. The route consists of forest tracks and top quality descents on the single track. The views of the Carneddau, Glyderau, Moelwynion and Snowdon ranges are superb. On clear days, several more mountain ranges can be seen. The single track is predominantly tight, technical and rocky. But also has some wonderful flowing sections taking in forest, lakes and ridgeline.
The two Penmachno trails are also quality trails with steady climbs. These trails include bridges, elevated wooden sections and stream crossings. Again, great views of the Moelwynion range are ever present.
Coed Y Brenin has many superb rides to choose from and was some of the first to be created in Britain.
